- I’m a Washington, DC local – born and raised! (Kind of an anomaly around here!)
- I have a major weakness for caffeine…in any form….coffee, tea, Redbull, chocolate….I’ll take it all! Yet, a glass of red wine will always be my favorite way to end the day.
- I’m am a total travel junkie, but I hate flying. And since I won’t let that stop me, recent adventures include London, Paris, Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, Negril, San Juan, Cancun, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Kruger National Park, Milan, and Zurich. If I could go anywhere in the world tomorrow, I’d be on the next flight to India.
- Random things that make me happy: thunderstorms, golden sunsets, top-heavy tulips, cuddling with my puppy, long chats on Skype, getting off a plane on the first day of a trip, freshly cut grass, breezes in autumn, bear-hugs from friends, spending time in my kitchen, a new find on Etsy, getting lost in the bookstore for a few hours…
- I am unapologetically addicted to post-it notes
- I have a business degree from the University of Maryland, and started taking classes in Photography a week after I graduated because I couldn’t imagine not being in class or learning something new.
- I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have several amazingly-talented photographers teach me so much of what I know. And now I get to call many of them friends!
- I still can’t believe how extremely lucky I am to be paid to spend my time working with people who are truly in love, surrounded by the family and friends who support them.
